Metallographic Sample Preparation to Order

Research

We produce micro-sections from your samples on PL-MetCore complex equipment: precision diamond cutting, mounting, grinding and polishing to a mirror finish, plasma activation and electrochemical etching.

We handle metals, ceramics, hard alloys, crystals, rock, concrete, and porous powder metallurgy samples — vacuum casting rules out voids and gaps.

Every sample receives a unique identifier and all processing parameters are recorded automatically. Along with the micro-section you receive its digital passport containing the full history of operations.
